MISSION & VALUES

We are partnering with the local church and community to serve individuals with disabilities through excellence as we promote authentic relationships and opportunities for meaningful engagement.

JoyKC is a faith-based non-profit that organizes regular programs for teens (ages 15+) and adults with disabilities in the Greater Kansas City area.

JoyKC exists to serve as a place of belonging and friendship. We rely and empower our volunteer network to help us serve individuals with disabilities through excellence. We believe that this model not only increases the social capitol of our participants (i.e. increased quality of life, increased life span), but also holds the potential to dissemble and change outdated perspectives regarding people with disabilities through the context of relationship.

At JoyKC, we want people to walk away knowing that they are loved and fought for.

We do ask all our guests with disabilities to register prior to attendance. Please visit our Registration Page so that we can properly welcome you at our next event!

All upcoming programs can be viewed on our Events Page.

We could not begin to do what we do without the amazing support of our volunteers. It takes an army! To learn more about volunteering, please visit our Volunteer Page for additional information about how to get involved.

Thank you for your interest in JoyKC! We hope to meet you soon!
